Role of Parents and Carers

The school will ensure that both parents/carers and students take a central role in making decisions about what SEND provision should be made. The school recognises that parents hold key information, knowledge and experience of their child. The views of students and their parents will be heard and incorporated into the intervention planning and the information shared with school staff. We hold termly review meetings for all students at ‘SEN Support’ or with an ‘EHCP’ which is an opportunity for parents to ask questions and share information.
